2020 is in the history books

It’s a wrap! Our 2020 gig year came to a close on Saturday, October 17th at the Southcoast Open Air Market. We were missing one Rambler and it was windy and cold, but thankfully the sun came out and it turned out to be a fine October day, and we were happy to be playing music together in person. All four of us made our debut at SOAM on September 19th.

Ironically, 2020 got off to a great start. On New Year’s night, we played the Bluegrass Throedown show at Nick-a-nee’s in Providence. That was followed by appearances at the Mount Hope Farmers Market on January 11th and the Wood River Inn on February 9th. We booked gigs at libraries, concert series, a bluegrass festival and farmers markets into the spring, summer and fall.

Then, the COVID-19 pandemic changed almost all of our plans, as it did for musicians everywhere.

Thankfully, we were able to continue rehearsing remotely using an online platformed called JamKazam. And, we were able to play a few outdoor gigs at SOAM and the Weaver Library Farmers Market during the summer and fall.

We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well. And, we look forward to seeing you at a venue next year. In the meantime, stay tuned as we have plans for virtual projects in the coming months.
